Forest & Found
This One-Of-a-Kind design explores the contrast between bold pattern and sculptural natural form. The zebra print introduces movement and visual rhythm, creating a dynamic surface inspired by the wild. In contrast, the U-shaped handle, carved from reclaimed wood sourced from a vintage chair, becomes a central architectural feature solid, warm, and shaped by time.
Polished conker seeds from the horse chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum) are integrated as distinctive accents, their smooth, deep-brown surfaces bringing a subtle gloss and organic geometry to the piece. Together with the natural wood tones, they add tactile richness and a grounded, earthy presence.
Rather than simply drawing from nature, this bag transforms natural elements into structure and form balancing strength, texture, and pattern in a piece that feels both sculptural and alive.
